Spoken like the proudly ignorant. Play the game, friend, and come back to us when you're done.
On topic, I'm crossing my fingers for some more side quests. Like pretty much everyone else has said already, it was a great game, just too short.
They're available in Canada too, at least. I can't speak for anywhere else though.
Word. Pretty much my entire level of excitement for this movie has been based around the amazing things that Blizzard can do with their CGI. If it's not them doing it... Well, the gamble could pay off, but it IS quite a gamble.
Seems like a great toaster for someone who just LOVES eating burned toast. Or I suppose you could turn the heat setting down, and just settle for 'toasted on the inside, soft and bready on the outside' if that's more to your liking.
Or you could buy a normal damned toaster and eat like a human.
They certainly have yet to disappoint this gamer. Contrary to my expectations, L4D is bloody fantastic.
Nah, you just have to like good games and have a sense of humour.
Ooh, over here. Right here. I enjoyed it.
What, I did.
Ok, I'll bite, haha. What about that caused you to recoil with hatred?
What the hell. I mean, yeah, it's morally abysmal, but didn't this game come out years ago? I was playing this game (or one creepily close to it) at least 4 or 5 years ago now. Why is it just hitting the news?
Seriously. 9 is totally the new 7.
(hee hee, this is fun!)
And what's terrifying is that you might actually not be joking.
Fella didn't have a choice - all things serve the beam, after all.
.. yeah, bubbles for you, haha.
And you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, I don't think anyone would ever want to take it from you.
Just like I'm entitled to my opinion that this game looks effing fantastic, and that you're likely high on horse tranquilizers.
Of course, trailers can be misleading... But my money's on this game being, well, money.
Hahaha, what a skid.
Seriously. Those of us who play WoW aren't just looking for the first excuse to jump ship, but we do want something better. We always want something better, just like damn near every gamer wants.
WoW is fine, otherwise AoC would have actually taken off ;)
Why don't we all just focus our hatred on the article itself? I clicked hoping for a comprehensive look at the entire series - maybe if I was lucky I would get a timeline or something too. Alas... Had only I known that even had I kept my hopes reasonable and wished for an article not written in broken english, I would still leave disappointed...
Ok, two points I'd like to make.
1) The original Killzone wasn't very good. It wasn't terrible, but it was far from a must-buy. This is relevant for two reasons. First, it means that people aren't entirely wrong to have their trepidations about KZ2. Second, it means that KZ2, since it is looking to be shaping up so nicely, seems like it will be a fantastic improvement over the first. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, so we'll have to wait and see for ourselves.
I'm with you, man. This game was nowhere on my radar until I grabbed the demo just for something to do. I'm surprised by how much fun I had with it.
I'm not clear on what the "nameless MMO" is to which the article refers... Which major MMO now is looking to make the leveling process harder and more arduous?
That's a serious question - anyone know?
Ok dude, serious question here. Clearly you are a fan of the 360, you think it's a great machine. Why do you go to such lengths to make sure that ALL of your posts are seen as just random fanboy garbage? I mean, you might be capable of actual intelligent discourse, but nobody here would ever know it. Why?
